Job DescriptionJob Description: We're seeking a highly motivated Retail Associate to play a key role in the success of our stores at Gulf City Mall and C3 Centre, San Fernando. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to contribute across various aspects of store operations, including:Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service, foster positive interactions, and exceed customer expectations.Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, ensure a clean and organized sales floor, and contribute to efficient inventory control processes.Supplier Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure timely product deliveries.Retail Associate Key Responsibilities:Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, listen to customer needs, recommend products, and create a positive shopping experience.Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, ensure a clean and organized sales floor, and monitor restocking needs.Cash & Sales: Operate the POS system, record transactions accurately, and balance cash and inventory daily.Communication: Communicate with vendors, address customer issues professionally, and respond to phone and email inquiries.Social Media: Assist with social media tasks, including content creation, responding to messages, and scheduling posts.Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute campaigns, promotions, and events.Teamwork: Work closely with management, report any issues, and collaborate to achieve store goals.Cleaning & Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and safe for customers.Additional Duties: Perform any additional tasks as required by the position.Compliance: Understand and comply with store guidelines and policies.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 O-Levels, including English and Math (or equivalent).Previous retail or customer service experience.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Basic computer literacy (POS software and email).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Professional appearance and demeanor.Punctuality, reliability, and a proactive approach.Willingness to learn and adapt.Job Type: Full Time: Fixed Term Contract, with option to renew Part Time: Fixed Term Contract (part time employment), with option to renewLocation: South Trinidad: Gulf City Mall and/or C3 CentreProbationary Period: 3 Month Store Hours and Salary: Full time employees will work 5-6 days per week and Part Time employees will work approximately 3 or more days a week on a rotating roster, which includes weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
