Our retail chains, present in nine countries, include TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Winners, HomeGoods, Sierra, TK Maxx and Homesense.A crucial part of our Company is represented by our Global Buying Offices, where resident buyers and sourcers purchase goods locally and scout regional markets looking for exciting products for our stores.Global Buying Offices in Europe are present in Portugal, Italy, UK, and Spain and we have Associates also in Poland and the Netherlands.Retail Buyer in PortugalDuties And Responsibilities:Evaluate products during the selection process, considering fashion, quality, price, and brand relevanceUnderstand appropriate buying quantities aligned with OTB guidelines and store presentation needsMonitor and analyze competitor activity across stores, online, and media to identify trends and opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong market relationships and presenceTravel regularly to explore new markets and sourcing opportunitiesNegotiate purchases within defined parametersConduct analyses to support seasonal strategies and review key buying reportsIdentify and discuss business trends with Buying Team and Market ManagersJob Requirements:Proficiency in Portuguese and English is essential.Previous experience in buying for a retail companyWhat's In It For You?
