Position SummaryThe Retail Support Specialist provides essential back-office and compliance support to teller and branch operations, ensuring that frontline staff can focus on delivering excellent customer service. This role assists with transaction research, account corrections, and administrative processes that enable branches to operate smoothly and efficiently. In addition, the Retail Support Specialist supports certain Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions under the guidance of the Director of Retail Support, including tasks related to the Customer Identification Program (CIP) and the preparation or review of Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs). By combining attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to compliance, the Retail Support Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining operational accuracy, reducing risk, and supporting the overall effectiveness of the bank’s retail network.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma3+ years of banking, customer service, or administrative experienceFamiliarity with retail banking operations, a plusProficiency with Microsoft Office and banking systemsKey ResponsibilitiesAssist with back-office functions that support teller operationsProcess routine administrative tasks related to retail bankingMaintain accurate documentation and reports for branch support activitiesCollaborate with teller managers and frontline staff to resolve operational needsAssist with CTR, CIP, and other BSA related retail procedures as assignedEnsure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations in support activities.
