Our mission is to increase repeat purchase rates, elevate subscriber take-rate, convert OTP customers into subscribers, and lift cohort LTVs through high-velocity testing and deep data analysis.Role OverviewWe're seeking a Retention Marketing Manager with hands-on experience driving results for subscription DTC/CPG brands. You'll lead initiatives to grow, optimize, and retain subscription customers, owning experimentation across digital touchpoints and collaborating cross-functionally to launch and measure high-impact retention strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn all aspects of retention testing: manage 3-6 week sprints, prioritize experiments, and drive execution velocityDevelop, implement, and analyze lifecycle strategies for both one-time purchasers and active subscribersDesign offer and message testing across email, SMS, and onsiteCreate and optimize subscription flows (take-rate, save flows, benefit framing, gifting, etc.)Strategize onboarding for new customers and subscribers to maximize LTVBuild and launch customer surveys to inform recovery flows and reduce churn for at-risk accountsDeeply analyze cohort data (LTV, payback period, AOV, repeat rate, growth) and report actionable insightsCoordinate the rollout of winning experiments with internal and external teamsUse speed, rigor, and data to solve retention challenges—always striving for faster payback and revenue retentionRequirements3+ years in retention/lifecycle marketing for DTC/CPG subscription brandsProven expertise with subscription platforms —must have deep working knowledge of Stay AI, Recharge, or SKIO (experience with at least one is required; more is a plus)Demonstrated success running structured retention experiments across multiple lifecycle touchpointsAdvanced proficiency with cohort, LTV, payback period, and churn analyticsSkilled in copywriting and message testing for digital campaignsAbility to thrive in a high-speed, test-and-learn environmentExperience collaborating cross-functionally with CX, product, design, and dev teamsStrong proficiency in Google Sheets for reporting, data analysis, and building clear retention dashboardsEmail/SMS campaign strategy and platform expertise (Klaviyo, Attentive, Postscript, etc.)Experience with rewards programs, subscriber journeys, and PDP/subscription portal optimizationHands-on with survey tools and customer feedback analysisBenefits Work from Anywhere Competitive Salary Flexible Hours
