Hutchison Port Holdings brings 40 years of experience in the ports industry.The OpportunityYou’ll be a key part of our HSEQ team, partnering with leaders across the business to identify risks, audit our operations, and ensure compliance with legislation, policy, and best practice. This is a role for someone who thrives on detail, influence, and impact.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct internal audits and support external audit activitiesMonitor compliance with legal, regulatory and internal business requirementsManage the review, development and update of HSEQ policies and proceduresMaintain and monitor the business risk registerAnalyse data and prepare actionable reports to senior managementAct as the liaison with Hutchison Ports Group Compliance on ICRM activitiesCollate and complete regulatory safety and compliance reports in a timely and accurate manner.Support the business in activities such as organising emergency drills, inspections and other HSEQ related initiativesAbout YouMinimum 2 years’ experience in a compliance or risk role, preferably within a BC industry.Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworksAuditing certificate and hands-on auditing experienceStrong communication, influencing, and analytical skillsLegal or stevedoring/logistics background (desirable)Why Join Us?Global Reach: Operates a vast network of ports across key international trade routes, ensuring seamless connectivity.National-level impact with autonomy to drive changeExposure to cutting-edge maritime logistics techA values-driven team that believes safety and learning go hand in handCompetitive remuneration and supportive workplace cultureA perky range of benefits.
