Becoming part of the Naturally Pacific team will allow you to engage in the hospitality industry within an expanding company that values every individual's input and celebrates achievements collectively.The RoleAs a key member of our team the Room Attendant is responsible for performing comprehensive room cleaning, ensuring each guest room is spotless and well-maintained. They restock all supplies and amenities, ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. The Room Attendant takes initiative to personalize guest experiences, responds promptly to inquiries and requests, and ensures the privacy and security of guests and their belongings.Your contributions to the team include:Comprehensive room cleaning including dusting, making beds, removing used linen, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, inside window cleaning, cleaning coffee pots, ensuring pots are plugged in, cleaning sinks and fixtures, and checking under beds, drawers, and closets for left-behind articles or trashRestock all supplies and amenities in rooms and stock linen supply room with clean linens for next day use, ensuring all terry, soap, glasses, comment cards, coffee, and other amenities are availableArrange furniture following guest useTake initiative to add a personalized experience for the guestsRespond to guest and staff inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteouslyTake ownership of guest’s privacy and belongings, ensuring the security of guest roomsEnsure all lost property items left in guest rooms are recorded and properly tagged in the designated areaMaintain an up-to-date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products, and correct handling proceduresMaintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipmentReport all maintenance and safety hazards, including burned-out light bulbs, plumbing issues, and suspicious activities, to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Rooms ManagerKeep an updated record of all rooms cleanedAdditional tasks and duties as assignedA few things we are looking for in a new team member:Previous housekeeping or cleaning experienceAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with compact timeframesStrong organizational skills and high energy levelsCapability to assess a situation for danger or safety issues and act accordinglyStrong communication skillsAbility to follow directions accurately and efficientlyExperience with industrial cleaning equipment and productsPhysically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk for an extended periodAbility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysPerks & BenefitsAt Naturally Pacific Resort, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the valuable contributions of our colleagues.
