RtR Statutory Accountant (Local Tax, IFRS)

You light the way.As a Record To Report Statutory Accountant you’ll be responsible for correct statutory and IFRS reporting for European entities.We’re on the lookout for forward-thinking innovators with a passion for sustainability. If you match this description, get in touch!What You’ll DoEnsure accurate statutory and IFRS reporting for European entities.Stay updated on statutory and tax regulations; assess business impact.Properly account for and document non-recurring transactions.Establish local policies for statutory accounting and reporting.Manage and produce statutory financial information for annual reports.Coordinate statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.Support tax compliance, including CIT and other local taxes, and prepare tax schedules and commentary for internal reporting on ANAF portalEnsure timely and accurate tax submissions and disclosures.Assist in documenting and implementing transfer pricing policies.Support process improvement within the statutory and regulatory environment, including designing and adjusting statutory processes and controls.Collaborate with the Financial Controller on IFRS and statutory accounting.Your QualificationsFinance background (Master's degree minimum; ACCA or equivalent is an additional plus).At least 5 years of experience, ideally in a multinational and complex matrix organization.Familiar with local tax and statutory accounting specifics.Familiar with ANAF portalStrong planning and organizational skills; able to meet deadlines.Excellent communicator, capable of conveying complex issues clearly and concisely.Experience working across multiple levels, functions, regions, and third parties.Practical knowledge of IFRS.Knowledge of Workiva and SAP.Fluent in Romanian and English.What You’ll Get In Return…Stable working conditions based on employment contract, flexible hours and occasional home office possibility.Work in an international team & structured organization.Development possibilities based on Individual Development Plan and access to the variety of learning platformsPrivate medical care & BenefitSystem cards (or other form of sport card)Employee referral program.Competitive Salary.Annual Bonus.Social Fund (Christmas Bonus etc.).Group Life Insurance.We’re offering multiple opportunities for career development, like mentoring, coaching and stretch assignments, with strong international exposure for dynamic profiles.
