We make a priority to ensure a workplace that drives, engages and retains them.What makes SIBS a Great place to work?Here are a few highlights:The team: you’ll work with team players that are smart & friendly and that really care about the work they do, and there are plenty of happy hours and team building events to connect outside work;The growth and innovation: as part of a growing team, you’ll have lots of opportunities for career development and be exposed to the latest technologies due to our focus on innovation on the exciting and fast growing payments industry;The benefits: you’ll have access to a generous benefits package, like access to Bookster library, a top health insurance and competitive salaries with performance rewards.Key Responsibilities:Record supplier and customer invoices (domestic and international)Prepare and process expense reports and travel expense claims (domestic and international)Prepare and record cash register transactions (local and foreign currency), payment/receipt orders, and maintain cash availability recordsProcess bank statements in local and foreign currencyRegister fixed assets and inventory items in the fixed asset register, generate goods receipt notes and commissioning reportsPrepare and document accruals for expenses and revenues; record, monitor, and allocate prepaid expenses and deferred revenuesRecord other inventory items, including consumables and spare partsPrepare and update cost allocation templates for cost centersPerform revaluation of foreign currency accounts (bank accounts, suppliers/customers, etc.)Reconcile customer and supplier accounts, payments and collections, and other balance sheet accounts; verify the trial balanceProvide support for VAT journal review, VAT account closure, and preparation of monthly tax returns, financial statements, and statistical reportsMaintain financial and accounting records for special projects (e.g., ATM Multibanco)Complete statutory financial-accounting registers (general journal, inventory register, fiscal evidence register).Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 2–4 years of experience in AccountingSolid understanding of Romanian accounting regulations and tax legislation (including VAT)Proven experience with invoice processing, bank statement reconciliation, and cash register operationsStrong knowledge of fixed asset management, accruals, and cost allocation processesProficiency in accounting software (ERP systems, Charisma would be a plus) and advanced Excel skillsStrong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to reconcile complex accountsGood communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholdersFluency in English.
