Job Description

We are looking for our client, a multinational professional services network, and one of the Big Four accounting organizations, to hire a Senior Consultant - Corporate Finance and M&A.ObjectivesWork with and coordinate teams of consultants within the Energy Management Consulting team, participating in all aspects of client engagement including gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations.ResponsibilitiesProvide management consulting services to clients in the energy sector, ensuring delivery of high-quality insights and strategic recommendations.Offer energy industry advisory with a focus on renewable energy, conventional power, and emerging technologies.Support clients in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) for renewables projects, including due diligence, valuation, and transaction execution.Develop and advise on regulatory strategy, helping clients anticipate, interpret, and respond to policy and regulatory developments.Contribute to the design and execution of corporate strategy, supporting growth, competitiveness, and transformation initiatives.Engage in corporate finance activities such as financial analysis, investment evaluation, and capital structuring for energy-related transactions.Conduct market entry assessments to evaluate opportunities and risks of expansion into new geographies or segments.Deliver cross-border market studies, analyzing global and regional energy markets to support international strategies.Build and apply market models to forecast trends, supply-demand dynamics, and pricing scenarios.Perform strategic market assessments, synthesizing data and insights to inform client decision-making and investment strategies.Collaborate with clients and stakeholders at all organizational levels.QualificationsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in economics, business or a related fieldPrevious relevant work experience with client facing (internal or external clients), minimum 3-5 years, preferably in a management consulting/corporate finance position or in an internal advisory role (financial modelling, M&A for renewable projects, Corporate Finance)Understanding economic, financial and general business concepts and terminologyProficient with Excel, PowerPoint and WordAnalytical and quantitative problem-solving skillsFlexibility and ability to approach various tasksAbility to work both autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a team environmentAbility to work effectively with people at all levels in an organizationAbility to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English and RomanianWhat our client is offeringHealth insuranceMeal ticketsProfessional CertificationsLife insuranceWellbeing programsAdditional monthly budget in BenefitA flexible working environmentTeam buildingsTrainings & professional eventsAnnual bonusesPerformance bonusesExtra days offChristmas & Easter vouchersAccess to highly skilled experts to bring you the latest in learning and development with training in leadership, technical and personal developmentA flexible working environmentA competitive remuneration and attractive benefitsOpportunity to work with Top Clients on important projectsContinuous learning and improvement activitiesEqual Opportunity EmployerRSight® is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
