Position Overview: The Head of Human Resources at S. S Lootah Group will lead all HR function across multiple business units within our organization and will be a seasoned HR professional with a proven track record of driving human capital strategies, fostering a positive workplace culture, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. The Head of HR will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, compensation & benefits, and legal compliance, to ensure that the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent. Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning, Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the group organization's goals and objectives. Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and taking part in hiring decisions. Employee Relations, manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee grievances. . Performance Management, work closely with the Group & BUs Management to develop and implement performance management systems to ensure that employees are meeting job expectations and receive appropriate feedback and recognition. Training and Development, implement effective onboarding programs, identify training needs, develop training programs, and oversee employee development initiatives to enhance skills & capabilities.
Compensation and Benefits, Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and employee benefits. HR Policies and Procedures, Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Workforce Planning, analyze workforce trends and plan for future staffing needs, including succession planning and talent management. Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on human capital management and workforce planning. Employee Engagement, Develop & implement employee engagement programs to foster a positive and competitive work environment, enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Legal Compliance, Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
HR Technology, Implement and maintain HR information systems (HRIS) and other technological solutions to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency. Diversity and Inclusion, promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. Conflict Resolution, mediate conflicts and disputes between employees or between employees and management. . Employees Well Being, ensure compliance with regulations, implement measures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Authorities: Develop and implement Hr. policies aligned with organizational goals and legal requirements. Manage employees’ relations and conflict resolution, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Establish Training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Ensure compliance with labor law and regulations, mitigating risks for the organization. Lead performance management and appraisal system to drive accountability and growth. Implement employee engagement and retention strategies to maintain a committed workforce. Accountability: Maintaining a fair and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with organizational values. Driving effective talent acquisition and retention strategies to meet workforce needs. Overseeing HR Data accuracy and confidentiality in personnel records and systems. Monitoring and optimizing HR budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective use of funds.
Compliance with company policies including HSE Policies and legal standards. Every employee is accountable for their own safety and the safety of their colleagues. This includes following all safety protocols, identifying hazards, and taking proactive steps to mitigate risks. Qualifications 1 . Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Master's degree or HR certification (e. g. , PHR, SPHR) is a plus. 2. ExperienceMinimum 15 years proven experience in HR management, with at least 5 years as Head of Department leadership role. In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
Strong strategic thinking and business acumen. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to drive change and lead HR initiatives that positively impact the organization. Ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with overall business objectives. Experience managing HR functions across multiple business units or within a group structure. Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in Oracle or other HR software. Understanding of the complexities and challenges associated with coordinating HR efforts in a diverse organizational setting.
