Location: North Region, CameroonSector: Electrical / Hydroelectrical EngineeringLanguages: Bilingual - French and EnglishWe are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a leading company in electrical and hydroelectrical engineering, an experienced HSE Supervisor to coordinate and oversee health, safety and environmental compliance on a major project site. Main ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will be responsible for: Supervising all HSE activities on site and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. Leading, training, and supporting HSE and operational teams to foster a proactive safety culture. Developing and updating HSE plans, emergency procedures, and prevention programs.
Conducting regular inspections, audits, and compliance checks, and ensuring follow-up on corrective actions. Analyzing incidents/accidents, preparing detailed reports, and recommending continuous improvement measures. Ensuring compliance with national and international HSE standards and regulations. Coordinating with site managers, engineers, and project leaders to integrate HSE requirements into all project phases. Profile RequiredExperience: Min of 5 years in a similar role, including at least 2 years in HSE team supervision. Experience in the electrical, hydroelectrical, industrial, or construction sectors is preferred. Education:
Master’s degree in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE), or engineering degree with a specialization in safety and environment. Age: 28 to 40 years. Languages: Professional proficiency in both French and English. Key Skills: Leadership, rigor, strong communication, ability to manage priorities, analytical mindset, and results orientation.
