Safety Coordinator

JOB REQUIREMENTS: BelGioioso Cheese, Inc., North America\'s leadingproducer of award-winning specialty Italian cheeses, is seeking a SafetyCoordinator to join our growing company. The individual in this rolewill be responsible for: Lead the Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) Program. Thisincludes working closely with project teams, maintenance, and plantmanagers to proactively review new equipment and upgrades, deliveringannual training, and auditing procedures and manuals to keep our LOTOprogram accurate and effective. Support all areas of the SafetyDepartment. This position will initially be responsible to schedule andcoordinate trainings. This requires someone who can comfortably shiftbetween tasks, stay organized, and communicate effectively withemployees at every level of our company. As our company continues togrow, the opportunities for the individual in this role to expand theircareer will grow as well. Assist with Workers\' Compensation processes.Partnering with Human Resources and our Workers\' Compensation ClaimAdministrator to report, manage, and follow up on claims. Candidates with an Associate\'s degree in asafety related field and experience in the food manufacturing industrywill be given special consideration.
