TCS is hiring Safety Data Sheet!Skill - Safety Data Sheet (SDS) ManagementJob Location – MumbaiExperience Range – 3 to 10 YearsEducational Qualification(s) Required – Any Graduate/PostgraduateKey Responsibilities:SDS Authoring and Maintenance:Author and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels for products using specialized software and regulatory databases.Ensure all SDS are compliant with current regulations, including OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (HCS), EU REACH/CLP, and other relevant international standards.Manage the review and release process for new and revised SDS.Gather, interpret, and manage raw material data, including technical specifications, toxicity data, and regulatory classifications, to determine the hazard profile of finished products.Perform hazard classification of substances and mixtures based on toxicological, physicochemical, and ecotoxicological data in accordance with GHS criteria.Monitor regulatory changes globally and update SDS content proactively to maintain compliance.Serve as a regulatory resource for internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Operations, Sales) regarding product classification, safe handling, and transportation requirements.Respond to internal and external inquiries related to SDS content and product safety data.Participate in internal and external audits related to product safety documentation.Sound knowledge of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for Classification and Labeling of Chemicals.Solid understanding of key regulations like US OSHA HCS, EU REACH and CLP Regulation.Proven proficiency with SDS authoring software (e.g., SAP EHS, Ariel, specialized third-party systems).RegardsManisha Singh (TCS -HR)
