Besides business operations, Schindler India has its own Corporate R&D Centre, Elevator and Escalator Factory and Shared Service Centre to support India operations, which is in-fact one of the fastest growing market now globally.Join us as aRegional Sales Manager - NI SalesYour Main ResponsibilitiesResponsible for deploying the region-specific sales strategies aligned with national priorities to achieve the sales objectives, customer satisfaction and profitability.Key responsibilities include:The Regional Sales Manager creates added value through the supervision of the sales force and the execution of sales strategies to meet the regional targets and increase market share.Include funnel & performance management maximizing conversions and forecast accuracy, segment expansion, new product push and adoption drives for strategic projects like sales tool, CRM, sales excellence programs, digital sales effectiveness. The incumbent will ensure adherence to sales governance, commercial policies and monitor risk exposure. Would be responsible for driving the new installation sales for the region resulting in increased revenue, profitable growth and improved employee productivity.Business: Sales Strategy & Planning:Responsible for driving the sales of Elevator & Escalator for the region with the key metricesMarket Share Improvement (Analyze market potential, competitor activity and customer insights across all branches in the region.Support annual operating plan, business forecast, sales budgeting and target setting.Data driven decision making on high potential segments and targeted growth plans.Drive value-based selling Driving funnel accuracy and lead to offer conversion, win rates, margin improvement.Support high value tendering and complex negotiations with data driven insights.Drive key accounts strategy, account penetration, improve Share of Wallet (Focus on Regional Top 20 Accounts)segment expansion and new product push.Customer Satisfaction, predictive model on repeat issues and alleviating them (Both B2B & B2C). Set up regional framework to provide timely information & coordination with all the functions ensuring smooth and effective business operations in the region leading to customer satisfactionSupport marketing campaigns, customer events and regional brand building activities.Sales Governance, price governance, adherence to commercial policies, tendering guidelines and LOAsPeople Development:Assess capability gaps of sales team and create developmental plans and drive functional capability (technical, sales, commercial, negotiations, CRM usage, framework of NPVs)Coaching and implanting the sales excellence program.Partner with HR to lead performance review, talent identification, succession planning and readiness assessment for key roles. Drive a culture of discipline, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer centricity.Sales governance:Model effectively to review the business for the assigned branches in the region.Attending customer meetings with sales team at regular intervals.Travelling across all branches under the region at regular interval.Strengthen adoption of CRM, CPQ to improve transparency and productivityWhat You BringRequirements:Strong stakeholders’ management and decision-making skillsStrong capability in coaching, mentoring and team developmentWilling to travel frequently within IndiaHigh Impact CommunicationData driven decision makerStrong analytical ability with command over excel, Power BI, CRMWhat you need:ExpertiseAt least having 10 -12 years of experience from direct marketing industry, preferably project sales background / building material, into a leadership capacity, preferably from an MNC dealing into building material/ capital equipment industry.Knowledge and SkillsCandidate with good understanding of Sales, having and understanding of manpower planning, capacity planning & forecasting. Desired knowledge in elevator and escalators industry, People Management skills, Organization and Planning skills, Selling skills, Customer Relationship Management.Should be a strategic thinker, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Engineering ( Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics).
