Our client are a leading chemical distributor in Europe and are now seeking to employ an experienced sales professional in their Dutch business and play a central role in driving customer success and sustainable growth across the Netherlands.About the RoleAs a Senior Account Manager, you’ll be the primary contact for some of our most important customers. Your role is to understand their needs, anticipate challenges, and offer tailored chemical solutions that support their production, innovation, and long-term strategy. You will collaborate closely with technical, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow a portfolio of large accounts across the NetherlandsDevelop long-term customer relationships built on trust, expertise, and service excellenceIdentify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand account valueLead contract negotiations and pricing discussionsCollaborate with internal teams to solve complex customer challengesMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirementsPrepare account plans, forecasts, and performance reportsWhat You BringExperience in sales/account management within chemical distribution, trade or manufacturing or scientific consumablesStrong commercial instincts and excellent communication skillsAbility to translate customer needs into tailored solutionsA strategic mindset with a hands-on, customer-first approachValid driving license (B) and willingness to travel across the NetherlandsProactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and relationship-building expertiseFluency in Dutch and English (B2)
