About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned manager in the FMCG space, who thrives in building businesses, inspiring teams, and shaping growth strategies. This role offers full accountability for sales performance in Japan, with a strong focus on distributor management, digital expansion and long-term brand building.The Manager will guide both people and strategy, ensuring strong distributor networks, engaged employees and innovative sales models that open new markets.What You Will Do1. Business LeadershipOwn the P&L for the Japan business and be accountable for delivering sustained revenue growth.Lead and inspire teams of employees, distributors, and marketing professionals to meet ambitious sales goals.Strengthen processes for identifying, onboarding, and developing distributor partners.Build strong external partnerships with government bodies, associations and industry networks to enhance market presence.2. Distributor & Team DevelopmentEstablish frameworks to motivate and support distributors, ensuring alignment with company vision.Provide ongoing training and development programs for both employees and distributors.Foster an engaged workplace culture, driving collaboration and continuous improvement.3. Digital & E-Commerce GrowthOversee the company’s online presence, ensuring strong performance in e-commerce channels.Drive initiatives around traffic growth, online conversion, mobile optimization, and customer engagement.Lead projects to enhance digital platforms, including website re-designs, new CMS integration, and mobile-first strategy.4. Product & Brand StrategyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a customer-driven product roadmap.Translate market insights and user feedback into impactful product and brand initiatives.Ensure new product launches are executed seamlessly, from concept through to market success.Champion innovation by identifying emerging opportunities in direct selling and consumer markets.What We Are Looking ForUniversity degree required; MBA is a plus.7–10 years of sales leadership experience with proven success in managing teams and business growth.Fluency in Japanese and English is essential.Experience in direct sales, MLM, or distributor-led businesses is highly desirable.Strong background in e-commerce, retail, or B2C industries.Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and lead across different cultures.Personal QualitiesStrategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.Inspirational leader who motivates teams and distributors to achieve results.Adaptable, innovative, and able to navigate fast-changing markets.Confident communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.Why This Role MattersThis is a chance to lead a high-profile role in Japan, shaping how our brand grows and how our distributor network thrives.
