Job DescriptionThe Markets Sales Assistant is responsible for providing crucial support to the Local Markets Sales team. The position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of sales operations across different markets. The assistant will collaborate closely with the team and also other internal parties to make sure the downstream process is well in place.Job ResponsibilitiesHandle, operate, and follow up on end-to-end trade process to ensure smooth front to back workflows and accuracy of all entries, ensure internal controls are followed; check all risk and control measures (incl. not limit to execute trade, coordinate with operations to pick up transactions; close/amend the deal; book the trade; oversee settlement and post-trade activities)Collaborate with Operations to ensure underlying requirements are adhered with, valuation statements are delivered, clients’ audit requirements are responded to, and settlement processes are completed efficientlyManage internal sales blotters, trade records, as well as prepare management reporting.Provide timely support for internal queries and solve post-trade related issues.Work closely with various internal parties i.e. Sales, Trading, Business Managers, RMs, Operation, IT, Risk, Client Services, Compliance, Legal etc.Assist on ad-hoc requests and handle queries in a timely manner, work as partnership while consistently keeping an independent mindset.Be able to help on ad-hoc requests from the Sales Desk and ClientsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsMarket/Derivatives KnowledgeGood IT knowledge (Excel, VBA, data analysis/query)Attention to detail; Ethics and integrityInterpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressureAnalytical mindset and problem solvingDisplays strong self-organization and multi-tasking capacityABOUT USJ.P.
