This is what makes this opportunity so exciting!Our results-orientated Liquidity Sales team has responsibility for the revenue generated by the LSEG FX trading platforms: the Liquidity Sales team predominantly cover trading within Matching (Spot, Fwds & NDF) & Pricestream (our D2C product).We are currently seeking a Sales Associate to work on our APAC Liquidity Sales team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about growing sales across institutional banks & buyside clients within this team. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years’ experience working on an eFX Sales or Trading team within a bank or previous experience managing liquidity for a venue.The role will involve working with clients across APAC providing sales coverage for our Primary market and Pricestream venues. The candidate will be tasked with growing business within existing clients whilst also seeking new business opportunities for LSEG Markets FX.The candidate will act as the ‘go-to person’ for Liquidity Sales in the region involving regular dialogue with both API and Desktop trading users.ResponsibilitiesGrow overall transactions volume on our Matching products (Spot, Forwards & NDF) and Pricestream to meet and exceed the annual growth target. This will involve regular contact with clients to ensure efficient trading conditions on the platform through management of liquidity sources, workflow solutions, credit profiles, user access and post-trade arrangements.Improve our share of clients' transactions business viz-a-viz driving offerings to contribute to the global LSEG market share in FX.Establish and maintain credibility, respect and levels of customer service that consistently exceed the expectations of the customer.Bring to bear relationships and knowledge of clients' business to promote related LSEG FX services, generating sales leads to pass to our other sales departments.Provide clear and timely product and market feedback to sales and proposition management.Required SkillsA working understanding of the FX markets and derivatives markets gained through experience in the banking, broking, sell-side or vendor industries.Knowledge of primary & secondary currency markets across APACWillingness to travel supporting clients within the regionA strong teammate, proactive and objective oriented. A very high level of attention to detail is essential in delivering the accurate solutions to this client group.Be conversant with current industry themes and developmentsThe ability to work under considerable time pressure and demonstrate vitality, energy, drive and passion.Must feel comfortable interacting at various levels in the client’s organisation.Technology-literate particularly in relation to electronic trading.Preferred SkillsExperience in both API and GUI trading discussions, building market share and recommending solutions which fit client’s requirements.Experience querying data and building reportsExisting client relationships within the FX market would be preferableAt LSEG, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise of creating essential partnerships and open opportunities.
