Using our commerce, marketing, and delivery solutions, our customers create optimised consumer shopping journeys from beginning to end.OverviewAs a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for creating qualified sales opportunities by engaging executive decision makers across target accounts. You will drive new pipeline through a mix of outbound prospecting and timely follow up on inbound leads partnering closely with Senior Account Executives and Marketing to target specific accounts industries and events. Success comes from leading effective first conversations with executives that prime them for the next steps and result in scheduled qualification or discovery meetings with the sales team.ResponsibilitiesProactively source new opportunities through outbound calls emails and social engagementRespond promptly to inbound leads from marketing campaigns events and the website qualifying and routing them appropriatelyPartner with Senior AEs and Marketing to prioritize target accounts, industries and eventsResearch accounts and personas to personalize outreach and uncover potential business needsLead effective first conversations with executive decision makers that prime them for next steps and result in scheduled qualification or discovery meetingsQualify prospects to ensure fit interest and alignment before passing to Senior AEsMaintain accurate records of activity lead status and opportunity progression in SalesforceUse the tech stack (Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Lusha or similar) to manage activity and optimize workflowsContinuously develop sales skills product knowledge and understanding of the e-commerce landscapeQualificationsMinimum Qualifications1+ years of B2B SaaS sales development or outbound calling experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to operate independently, manage time effectively and consistently meet activity and pipeline goalsProven track record of hitting or exceeding performance metrics such as opportunities created or pipeline contributionAbility to work standard business hours as dictated by leadershipPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExperience working in a consultative sales roleExperience with Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn and ZoomInfo (US) or Lusha (EMEA)Travel RequiredUp to 10%Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
