About the RoleThe Sales & Business Development Director plays a key role in driving growth across the region. You will lead sales strategies, develop strong client relationships, and deliver innovative trade finance and fintech solutions to enterprise clients and financial institutions. This position requires close collaboration with internal teams across Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, and Technology to deliver impactful outcomes for clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive business growth by leveraging on the network among C-suite and senior executives across large scale corporate and financial institutions.Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals.Lead and coach the sales team to achieve revenue and pipeline targets.Build, manage, and close sales pipelines — from origination to deal execution.Deliver compelling pitches and presentations to treasury, finance, and procurement leaders.Identify new business opportunities through market and industry insights.Maintain strong relationships within the financial services ecosystem to originate and expand client partnerships.Lead commercial discussions and negotiations to ensure profitable outcomes.Provide market feedback and insights to inform product and business strategies.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, IT, Management, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university.Over 10 years of proven experience in sales and relationship management within banking, fintech, or SaaS/enterprise solution environments.Strong track record in selling trade finance, supply chain finance, or treasury solutions to corporates, MNCs, and FIs.Deep understanding of ASEAN financial markets and experience engaging RTCs, procurement centres, and shared service hubs.Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence in engaging senior executives.Proven record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.Strong analytical, leadership, and teamwork skills.
