The hotel comprises of 541 rooms and suites.Join our team as Sales Manager- Leisure! As a Sales Manager- Leisure, we rely on you to: Identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities to drive revenue growth in the leisure segment across Shangri-La Colombo and Hambantota. Establish and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, OTAs, DMCs, and other key leisure partners to enhance market reach. Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to attract high-value leisure travelers and groups. Collaborate with the Revenue Management and Marketing teams to optimize pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and distribution channels. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, traveler preferences, and emerging markets. Represent Shangri-La at trade shows, tourism forums, and networking events to strengthen brand positioning and expand business opportunities. Negotiate and secure partnership agreements with key leisure clients, ensuring long-term business success. Track and analyze key sales performance metrics, preparing detailed reports to refine sales and business development strategies. Innovate and explore new revenue streams, enhancing offerings to align with evolving guest expectations and market demands. We Are Looking For Someone Who Has 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment. Proven ability to identify and convert new leisure business opportunities, with a strong sales-driven approach. Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong understanding of the Sri Lankan and international leisure market, tourism trends, and travel distribution networks. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market potential and develop effective growth strategies. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and achieve business targets.
