Senior Sales Manager - Energy StorageHoofddorp, NetherlandsSalary - Rewarding base salary up to €100,000+ Variable + Car + Health + Insurance + Benefits CompanyA leader in the Energy Storage (ESS) and Renewable Energy across the EMEA with their headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam,Job Description: Senior Sales Manager – Energy Storage System (ESS) SolutionsWe are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to head our Energy Storage System (ESS) Solutions Division.The Senior Sales Manager will define and execute strategies that drive innovation, growth, and market leadership in renewable and energy storage technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a strategic roadmap for ESS solutions aligned with the business goals.Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced energy storage systems, including battery storage, hybrid, and grid-integrated solutions.Conduct technical and commercial feasibility studies to ensure successful project implementation.Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and product management teams to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, developers, regulators, and technology partners.Ensure compliance with all safety, sustainability, and industry standards.Drive innovation and competitiveness through continuous evaluation of emerging technologies and market trends.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled engineers and technical specialists.Support business development and sales activities by providing technical insight and identifying new market opportunities.Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for the ESS division.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, or a related discipline.8+ years of experience in the energy storage or power systems industry, including proven leadership in strategic or technical roles.In-depth knowledge of battery storage technologies, energy management systems, and grid integration.Strong expertise in power electronics, system modeling, and performance optimization.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and market dynamics in the energy sector.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with financial modeling and business case development for ESS projects (preferred).
