Proactively and creatively identify new opportunities for growth with customers while maintaining existing programs. Collaborate with the sales team to execute sales strategies aligned with the Company's business strategy.  Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:   Customer Performance and Support:Drive and own assigned Customer performance to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profit targets are met. Proactively identify and work to develop solutions around challenges and opportunities by being familiar with customer priorities and competitive programs. Serve as the face of and act as the key conduit for LePage’s for assigned customers, maintaining vendor requirements and resolving any issues while ensuring client satisfaction. Relationship Management, Strategy and Business Development: Develop, build and maintain relationships with Customers across multiple departments and coordinate Customer relationships with other team members. Create and maintain account plans for each Customer, detailing specific Customer strategies and tactics. Work with the team leader to develop a multi-year achievable strategy to aid in the Company’s growth. Optimize pricing and profitability through sales opportunities to maximize margins, ensuring all required approvals are obtained and while working within the Customer’s review calendar/dates. Collaborate with Brokers and Distributors as needed to manage Customer accounts and daily activities. Create Customer programs covering displays, promotions, tariffs, freight and prepare quotes in Customer-preferred formats. Inventory and Demand Planning: Collaborate with Demand Planning to meet Customer inventory requirements. Build rolling forecasts by Customer and provide Customer and market insights to the forecasting process, both internally and externally. Sales Manager Salary Range is from $78,000 to $80,000 USD (commensurate with experience and location). The final compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, and work location. About You   Essential Skills and Knowledge:  ·       Bachelor's degree required.·       5+ years of sales experience, preference given for strong, existing retail relationships.·       Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel / Word / PP / Outlook / SharePoint). ·       Harness excellent communication skills, including active listening and effective problem-solving & analytical ability, as well as an ability to engage with team members when issues arise.·       Strong focus on providing customers with superior support and service.·       Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with tight deadlines.·       Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail. ·       Thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.·       Exhibit a tenacious work ethic and an unwavering drive for success.·       Embrace a growth mindset, readily adapting and adjusting to new situations.To apply, please send your resume, including salary expectations and explain why you would be a great fit for this role.  If you meet all the requirements and are not sure if you should apply, apply anyway!
