With a strong focus on quality, reliability, and technical excellence, we specialize in rubber and PU transmission belts (industrial, agricultural, automotive aftermarket, and powersports), supported by solid engineering, robust supply-chain capabilities, and a global distribution footprint.As we expand our presence in South America, we are seeking a highly autonomous yet fully integrated Sales Manager Mercosur (excluding Brazil) to develop and manage our customer base and distribution network across the region.2. Role DescriptionThe Sales Manager Mercosur will be responsible for driving commercial development across all key markets in South America—primarily Argentina, Peru, Chile, and Colombia, with potential expansion into other major countries in Latin and Central America.Working closely with the Group’s senior leadership in Europe, the successful candidate will manage existing accounts, build long-term partnerships, and lead proactive prospection efforts across the following sectors:Industrial distribution & OEMsAutomotive aftermarketAgriculture & agribusiness suppliersScooter / motorcycle / powersports channelsThis role includes:Managing and developing our distributor network and key OEM accountsLeading structured prospection activities across the entire regionBuilding a strong sales pipeline aligned with Movendis Group strategyConducting technical/commercial presentations to customersNegotiating annual agreements, pricing, and commercial termsMonitoring competition, market trends, and opportunitiesProviding regular reporting to the executive team in EuropeRepresenting Movendis Group with professionalism, reliability, and strong technical credibilityThe Sales Manager will operate with significant autonomy, while being deeply integrated into the Group’s processes, culture, and commercial strategy.3. QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, ideally within mechanical power transmission (belts, chains, couplings) or other industrial/technical componentsProven experience managing distributor networks and large OEM accountsStrong prospection skills and ability to open new markets across multiple countriesSolid understanding of B2B sales cycles in industrial, automotive, agricultural, or mechanical sectorsAbility to work independently, take initiative, and structure commercial development plansExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsFluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is an asset but not required)Based ideally in Buenos Aires (Argentina) or nearby regionsWillingness to travel across South America as neededOpen to independent contractors / self-employed professionals: we welcome candidates operating as independent sales consultants or manufacturers’ representatives, provided they can fully dedicate time, structure, and commercial focus to the Movendis portfolio.Strong sense of accountability, reliability, and professional ethics, essential for working with a high level of autonomy while being fully integrated into the Movendis Group structure.
