SAP BI/BW Lead/Senior Consultant

Our Bulgarian Technology team is currently implementing complex global projects in a vast portfolio of industries – e-commerce, retail, insurance, banking, telecommunications, automotive, public sector, travel and culture.The role is available for Sofia, Plovidv, Varna, Burgas, Ruse.Role Overview:As an SAP BI/BW Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Business Intelligence solutions to enhance data-driven decision-making and business insights. Your role includes developing and configuring BI/BW processes, managing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), and maintaining SAP BW back-end functionality. You will support projects utilizing BW on HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and optionally SAP Datasphere, to deliver comprehensive analytics solutions for our clients.You will participate in international projects, working on end-to-end SAP BI/BW implementations, from requirement gathering to solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. You will also provide expertise in release management, service management, and monitoring of BW services to ensure system reliability and performance.Responsibilities:Participate in SAP BI/BW and S/4 HANA implementation projects (business requirements gathering, system configuration, test documentation, execution, and post go-live support)Lead the deployment of SAP BW and BI solutions, with a focus on BW on HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Datasphere where applicableAnalyze business needs and propose technical solutions within BI/BW, considering integration requirements and potential impacts on other SAP modules or third-party applicationsPrepare project documentation including functional and technical specificationsCollaborate with business stakeholders and key partners to achieve successful project outcomesMentor junior consultants and deliver training sessions in BI/BW functional areasKeep up-to-date with the latest SAP BI and data warehousing technologiesTechnology & Required Knowledge:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field is preferredMinimum of 3+ years of experience in SAP BI/BW, with hands-on experience in BW on HANASolid knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud and/or SAP Datasphere is advantageousProficiency in ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling within SAP BWExperience in full lifecycle implementations and rollouts, particularly on large international projectsFamiliarity with integration between SAP modules and third-party applicationsAwareness of the latest SAP technologies and industry trendsFluent written and spoken EnglishThe Rest of the Qualities, you know them:Strong attention to detail, with high analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into SAP BI/BW functionalitiesEffective time-management and results-oriented approachA positive, collaborative attitude in a team environmentAbility to work with business and multicultural teamsWillingness to travel, both short and long-term, as neededQualifications considered as advantage:Basic knowledge of ABAP (debugging, trace, code understanding)Proficiency in more SAP modules - SAP MM, FI, CO, etc.Knowledge of SAP Sustainability Management productsAvailability of SAP certificate on main functional areaGood knowledge of SAP Activate or other agile development methodologiesBenefits:CertificationCareer Counselling30 days paid annual vacationFlexible home officeOptions to buy sharesLuxury health & dental insuranceFood vouchersMultisport cardsEmployee Assistance ProgramBonuses for special occasions
