Job Description

Education: Fire Protection Engineering/Safety Engineering/Chemical Engineering or any related fieldYears of Experience: More than 5 years of experienceResponsibilities: Lead the design, construction, and commissioning of new Fire stations and the renovation of existing ones. Develop comprehensive projects plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to contract requirements. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary to mitigate risks and delays. Ensure compliance with safety codes, Firefighting regulations, and fire station operational standards. Design & Construction Oversight on Fire stations and review architectural and engineering designs to ensure they meet fire station functionality and safety needs.

Oversee the Firefighting equipment, emergency response infrastructure, dormitories, training facilities, and vehicle bays. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization. Oversee procurement of fire station equipment, emergency response vehicles, and safety infrastructureEnsure all procured materials and equipment meet industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, local firefighting codes, and firefighting operational standards. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for fire station projects. Serve as the primary point of contact for fire department officials, government agencies, and project stakeholders. Organize and lead project meetings to communicate updates, resolve issues, and align expectations.

Prepare detailed project reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation for senior management. Coordinate with fire station personnel to ensure facilities meet operational needs. Oversee the final inspection, testing, and commissioning of fire stations before handover. Conduct training and orientation for fire station staff on the use of new facilities and equipment. Ensure all necessary documentation, warranties, and maintenance guidelines are provided upon project completion. Professional Skills: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is Preferred. NFPA and OSHA Fire Safety Certification is must. Knowledge of NFPA, NEBOSH, OSHA, and local fire safety codes. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
