Scaffolder (Rope Access Certified) | 3-Month Industrial ShutdownLocation: New Caledonia (Industrial Site)Contract Duration: 3 Months (Fixed-Term)Work Schedule: Shutdown Roster (Expected high hours/overtime)Eligibility: Open to all nationalitiesThe RoleWe are seeking experienced and highly motivated Scaffolders with Rope Access certification for an upcoming major industrial plant shutdown in New Caledonia. This is a fast-paced, high-intensity project requiring technical precision and a "safety-first" mindset.You will be responsible for the assembly, modification, and dismantling of complex scaffolding structures, often in challenging or high-elevation environments using rope access techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesErect and dismantle modular and tube-and-fitting scaffolding in accordance with site specifications and safety standards.Utilize Rope Access methods to reach areas inaccessible by traditional scaffolding or ladders.Conduct pre-start inspections of all equipment and tools.Work closely with other trades (pipefitters, welders, painters) to ensure safe access to work fronts.Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area during the intensive shutdown period.RequirementsCertification: Valid Scaffolding qualification (Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced) AND a current IRATA or SPRAT Rope Access certification (Level 1, 2, or 3).Experience: Proven experience on large-scale industrial sites (mining, oil & gas, or refineries), specifically during shutdown/turnaround environments.Physical Fitness: Ability to work in demanding outdoor conditions and at significant heights.Adaptability: Open to working with a diverse, international crew.Communication: Functional English or French language skills.Travel Ready: Valid passport and ability to pass a comprehensive medical/drug & alcohol screen.Why New Caledonia?Located in the heart of the South Pacific, New Caledonia offers a unique blend of French culture and breathtaking natural beauty.
