This is a progressional position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the lower classification with eligibility for progression to the next, once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated. You'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team and enjoy the satisfaction of maintaining a space that fosters learning and growth.Key Responsibilities IncludePerforming day-to-day tasks such as delivering mail, setting up classrooms, and maintaining school supplies.Supporting security duties, including locking/unlocking buildings and maintaining security systems.Undertaking grounds maintenance, including mowing, gardening, and caring for outdoor sporting facilities.Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards, including safe storage and handling of chemicals and equipment.Coordinating repairs and liaising with tradespersons to maintain school facilities.Attend to/or arrange repairs and maintenance within the school, including those which relate to furniture and equipment.Liaise with various internal and external personnel (e.g. tradespersons).The Following traits would be beneficialExperience in groundskeeping, facilities maintenance, or similar roles.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and follow set instructions.Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.Effective communication skills to liaise with staff, students, and external personnel.Please refer to the attached role description for the full list of responsibilities and mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
