Global officesUnited States| Canada | United Kingdom| United Arab of Emirates| India Brief Job Description:As a Scrum Master, you will guide cross-functional teams to deliver digital banking and Open Finance initiatives efficiently and in alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements. You’ll promote Agile best practices, support delivery teams in removing obstacles, and help foster collaboration across business, technology, and compliance functions. Experience in digital banking, fintech, or Open Finance delivery within the UAE or GCC is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate Scrum ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, ensuring consistent delivery and continuous improvement.Identify and remove delivery impediments to maintain momentum and team productivity.Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to maintain a clear, prioritized product backlog.Track delivery progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput) and provide regular updates.Coordinate across multiple squads or workstreams in scaled Agile environments (SAFe/LeSS).Work closely with compliance, risk, and cybersecurity teams to ensure delivery meets regulatory expectations.Support PMO governance and reporting for wider transformation programs.Required Qualifications – Banking Oriented5–7 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead in banking, financial services, or fintech.Proven experience delivering digital banking, payments, or API-based solutions.Solid understanding of core banking, digital channels, and regulatory programs (KYC/eKYC, AML, Open Banking).Familiarity with central bank regulations and GCC market practices.Hands-on experience using JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps for delivery management.Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with business, IT, and compliance teams.Preferred Open Finance ExpertiseKnowledge of GCC Open Banking/Open Finance frameworks and API ecosystems.Understanding of consent management, data sharing, and interoperability standards.Experience collaborating with fintechs, API partners, or developer communities.Familiarity with UAE’s Open Finance Platform, Trust Framework, and API Hub initiatives.Core Skills & CertificationsStrong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to drive collaboration, problem-solving, and delivery focus across teams.Analytical mindset with adaptability to shifting priorities.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).Additional Agile or coaching credentials (e.g., PMI-ACP, ICP-ACC) are a plus.C5i is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
