In this role, your day will be dynamic—analyzing market trends to capture new opportunities, driving business development to win customers, collaborating with pricing and BD teams, and building strong relationships with people, customers, and carrier partners to ensure sustainable growth.How you create impactYou will focus on developing + diversifying business in line with financial + volume targets. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:To own, monitor + drive all sales activities for (i.e. prepare quotation) customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified + nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable + sustainable customer deals.To align your sales efforts with Customer Care Location (CCL) Managers, Pricing + Sea Logistics Business Development teams, including pricing decisions.To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing + products.To report customer feedback to the CCL team, supporting resolutions as required.To align with CCL colleagues when onboarding new customers.To maintain + update the most relevant customer information in internal systems.To regularly review customer portfolios with the CCL Managers + team.To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with the CCL.What we would like you to bringBachelor’s degree in Economics, Import/Export, Logistics, or related fields.At least 3 years of working experience in Sales within Freight Forwarding; experience in Sea Logistics is an advantage.Solid knowledge of foreign trade, forwarding, import/export processes, and customs regulations.Proven sales experience with strong customer orientation and a drive to deliver results.Excellent communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and time management skills.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Good command of English, with an open mindset and ability to learn quickly.What's in it for youAt Kuehne+Nagel, you’ll be part of a global logistics leader that believes in creating real impact—on business, on customers, and on careers.
