We are seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative, and knowledgeable Student Coach (Flex Class Coach) to join our Wellbeing Team. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting students in developing their academic, social, and emotional skills. We are looking for a student coach, who has a commitment and passion for helping students to develop their academic and social- emotional skills. The position is at our South-East Campus starting in January 2026 until October 2026.Pay scale 6: min. €2.672,- min - max. €3.610,- full-time per month, before taxStarting date: January 6th 2026, temporary contract due to maternity leave. Contract: 0,6 fte (3 days per week)Does this job suit you?As a Flex Class Coach, you will play a key role in supporting students who require additional guidance to succeed at school. You will work closely with the Wellbeing Team to further develop and implement our “Flex” support programme, which focuses on personalised support, structured routines, and building student confidence and independence. You are invested in the success of your students, and you have a solid understanding of teenage development. You can stimulate students’ learning skills. You are able to contribute to a close school community and work as part of a dynamic and hardworking team. You are also able to cater for students with many different social, emotional, and educational needs, from a variety of different cultural backgrounds and countries.Working at AICS means working at an internationally oriented educational institution with an open work culture. In addition, AICS offers:Gross monthly salary: min. €2.672,- | max. €3.610,- full-time basis, before tax;End-of-year bonus of 8.33%;Holiday payment of 8%;Good work-life balance;Attention to your own employability;AICS is an IB World School and offers a wide range of professional development opportunities.You need to have:a valid and relevant qualification with a specialisation in student support or special education, in your own country, preferably already accredited by DUO;at least two years’ experience in supporting students in secondary School education;excellent knowledge and experience of different inclusive teaching and educational methodologies;an understanding and knowledge of intercultural competence;the ability and initiative to help create and implement school policies;excellent command of the English language and general communication skills, additional spoken language skills are an asset.You have a commitment to the school’s mission to provide high-quality community-based international learning in the form of the IB programme. You have a commitment to developing and providing inclusive education.
