Security Architect

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Security Architect to join a dynamic IT team and help design and implement robust security controls across public cloud environments. You will be the go-to expert for cloud security, ensuring compliance, driving secure development practices, and supporting strategic IT security projects.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement comprehensive security architectures across cloud platforms (primarily AWS, some Azure)Lead security integration within DevSecOps pipelines, embedding controls throughout the development lifecycleDevelop and maintain cloud security reference architectures, patterns, and standardsDraft detailed technical requirements for RFPs when evaluating third-party security solutionsDevelop and maintain information security policies, processes, procedures, standards, and guidelinesCollaborate with stakeholders (Product Owners, Developers, Architects) to ensure secure cloud operationsSupport internal and external security audits and assessmentsContribute to continuous improvement of organizational security practicesWhat We’re Looking For:5+ years of experience in security architecture or DevSecOps, with significant focus on AWS public cloud environmentsProven experience writing security policies, processes, and technical requirements for suppliersHands-on experience implementing ISO27001 in cloud environmentsFamiliarity with Service Management toolsPreferred certifications: AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, ISSAP, SABSA, TOGAF, or CISSPIndependent, proactive, and capable of managing tasks autonomouslyFluent in English and either Dutch or FrenchMaster’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent hands-on experienceWhy This Role:Opportunity to shape and secure cloud environments in a fast-paced IT organizationWork on high-impact security projects including compliance, DevSecOps, and cloud transformationsHybrid work setup with flexibilityStart Date: ASAP
