Apply now!What You´ll BuildWith us, you will make a difference!We are looking for a new team member in the SAP SuccessFactors Security Compliance, Risk Governance and Program Management (PMO) Team to support and partner with the Data Protection & Privacy Unit Coordinator.You will sustain and uplift Data Privacy compliance in SAP SuccessFactors.In your role, you will consult and provide support around Data Protection & Privacy and personal data handling to internal colleagues and units.We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about making a difference and who would like to become part of a dynamic and positive team.Our line of business delivers market‑leading Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions across the full employee lifecycle (recruiting, onboarding, progression, assessment) and is at the forefront of artificial intelligence development in the industry.Privacy is mission‑critical for us: it protects individuals’ rights and sustains SAP’s position as a trusted partner for its customers.The role blends program and project management, process and control design, stakeholder engagement, and advisory work.Operating under the supervision of the Data Protection and Privacy/AI Compliance Lead Legal Advisor, the role requires active, effective collaboration with various legal and technical teams and functions across SAP.Key Responsibilities IncludeServe as a key data privacy subject‑matter expert for the line of business, lead the rollout of DPP requirements and initiatives from SAP’s Data Protection Officer’s Organization; translate requirements into product‑level guidance, track adoption and provide product‑level granularity upstream as needed.Own the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA) for the line of business: maintain and review entries, identify and remediate gaps, document findings, and engage entry owners to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance.Facilitate privacy‑by‑design in the software development lifecycle: manage and continuously improve a change‑ and process‑driven Privacy Impact Assessment system; run risk assessments; maintain a privacy risk register; and drive mitigation through to closure.Oversee privacy controls end‑to‑end: coordinate internal and external audits; liaise with control owners to validate existing and secure new certifications; assess control effectiveness; coordinate evidence collection; and drive corrective and preventive actions.Conduct Transfer Impact Assessments and advise on cross‑border data transfers, including evolving data localization requirements, in collaboration with internal local counsel.Advise development and operations teams on product standard requirements and collaborate with product standard owners on privacy‑ and AI‑related standardsPartner with product management and engineering to govern the use of SAP and customer data for product development and analytics, ensuring data minimization and appropriate retention/deletionAct as a primary point of contact for external engagements, including customer inquiries and audits, and negotiate privacy‑ and AI‑related terms with customers, partners, and vendors. Strengthen third‑party risk management by advising on DPAs and vendor privacy due diligence.Develop the DPP organization within the line of business and deliver multi‑channel training and office hours to increase awareness and effectiveness of privacy and AI principles and policies.What You Bring3–5 years’ experience in data protection and privacy in a multinational environment.Excellent command of English, written and spoken.Solid understanding of EU data protection law, the cloud business model, and related cybersecurity concepts.Strong experience with SharePoint Pages and Jira.Demonstrated ability to manage programs and projects, influence without authority, and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.High attention to detail; ability to handle confidential information and navigate discreetly and effectively within complex organizational structures.Preferred SkillsLaw degree.Experience at a technology company (preferably SaaS/cloud).Prior experience in AI compliance or AI governance.Professional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPT, AIGP.Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001/27701, SOC 2, or NIST privacy/security frameworks.Experience supporting audits and evidence collection for compliance certifications and attestations.Where you belongThe SAP SuccessFactors Security Compliance, Risk Governance and Program Management (PMO) Team is a globally distributed group of compliance and information security professionals within the SAP SuccessFactors Business Information Security Organization (BISO), working alongside key security functions such as Response Operations, Product Application Security, and Security Engineering.
