Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical foundation, be an excellent team player, and adhere to established processes while maintaining the flexibility to think creatively and innovate.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, implement, and support security solutions for both service provider and enterprise environments, serving clients in Greece and internationally.Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to design and implement security solutions and services.Assist and educate the Product Owner in refining, managing, and prioritizing product backlog items.Troubleshoot complex issues affecting critical infrastructure and production networks.Conduct periodic security audits and assessments of firewall infrastructure to ensure optimal security posture.Maintain in-depth knowledge of firewall technologies, network protocols, and security architecture.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferredAt least 3 years of experience in a Security Engineering or operation role.Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Check Point firewalls.Experience in routing and switching, including configuration, and troubleshooting of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network devices in medium-to-large enterprise environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of tasks.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Additional Preferred QualificationsExperience with Fortinet firewalls and/or CyberArk Pam is an added advantage.Familiarity working with SIEM solution(Qradar).Prior experience working closely with IT teams, including system administrators and network engineers, to ensure a cohesive security strategyWhat We OfferA dynamic and respectful work environment where innovation, teamwork, and work-life balance are valuedContinuous learning opportunities through hands-on training and mentorship from industry expertsCareer growth, working with talented professionals from diverse backgrounds.A competitive compensation package tailored to your experience and qualifications, with a strong focus on recognizing and rewarding effortJoin us and be part of a forward-thinking team that’s shaping the future of cybersecurity!
