Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Technician based in Calgary, AB or Kelowna, BC. The Security Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security systems such as CCTV, access control, intercom, and alarm systems. Duties will include conducting system testing, configuring network-enabled devices, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing technical support to clients. The role also involves collaborating with team members to deliver outstanding service and solutions for customer security needs. Qualifications Proficiency in installing and maintaining Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, and other security devicesKnowledge of Network Security principlesStrong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issuesUnderstanding of Occupational Health and Safety standardsRelevant certifications (e.g., Axis, Milestone, Honeywell, Bosch) and/or experience in the security industryExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactionsAbility to work independently and solve problems effectively in a fast-paced environmentA valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to client sites if needed
