ROLE OVERVIEWThe Seminar & Events Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting NMG’s Retirement Benefit Counsellors and Financial Planners by managing and executing national seminar programmes — both in-person and virtual. This includes planning logistics, coordinating presenters and venues, managing client communication, ensuring compliance, and delivering a high standard of professionalism in all NMG educational engagements.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAreas of responsibility may include but not limited to:Event Planning & CoordinationDevelop and manage the national seminar calendar, including Retirement Benefit Counselling sessions, investment updates, and corporate presentationsSecure venues, arrange catering, and coordinate travel and accommodation for presentersOrganize logistics for virtual seminars (Teams/Zoom), including setup, invitations, recordings, and post-event follow-upsClient & Stakeholder EngagementLiaise with HR and fund administrators of corporate clients to schedule on-site seminarsSend invitations, manage RSVPs, and track attendancePrepare and distribute attendee lists, sign-in sheets, and feedback formsContent & ComplianceWork closely with Retirement Benefit Counsellors and Financial Planners to ensure seminar materials are accurate, up-to-date, and compliantPrint and distribute seminar packs and presentation decksEvent Execution & ReportingManage time slots and ensure smooth transitions between speakersCompile post-event reports, including attendance metrics, satisfaction ratings, and leads generatedTrack event costs and assist with budgeting and supplier payments.Brand & Quality AssuranceEnsure all client-facing materials are pre-approved and aligned with NMG’s brand and compliance standardsREQUIREMENTSQualification and ExperienceDiploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, or Business Administration3–5 years’ experience in event coordination, client seminars, or marketing campaignsExperience in a financial services or corporate environment preferredFamiliarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, PowerPoint, and CRM systemsValid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationallyCompetencies (skills required)The successful candidate should possess:Strong organizational and project management skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationProfessional presentation and client liaison abilityHigh attention to detail with ability to manage multiple events concurrentlyProficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Comfortable working independently and within a structured corporate environmentPersonality ProfileEnergetic, dependable, and solutions orientedCalm under pressure and skilled at managing multiple moving partsPassionate about client service and operational excellenceTeam player who enjoys supporting others to deliver impactPerformance MetricsAccuracy and timeliness of event logisticsAttendance and engagement levels per seminarPositive feedback from counsellors, clients, and internal stakeholdersCompliance and quality of event documentationABOUT USAt NMG Benefits, we are driven by a simple yet powerful philosophy: Finding a Better Way.
