JOB DETAILS / ROLE PURPOSE This role consists of managing a Transactional Accounting Unit of the Transactional Accounting Department team for a specific geographical scope as part of the Finance Services division in the Finance Factory. It implies to organize & steer the Unit, lead & develop the people and guarantee IT tools, develop and maintain internal controls & procedures, monitor performance of the activities and encourage & facilitate communication in order to ensure the excellence of the operations under responsibility: posting in Accounting Systems, Interface with local Stakeholders and P&L & Balance Sheet Analysis for the legal entities under responsibility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accounting postings and booking ▪ Record specific operations and transactions in the Accounting Systems in accordance with group internal and regulatory requirements & deadlines, under local & IFRS GAAP, tax and legal requirements. ▪ Review the accounting journals for finalizing the monthly results and identify discrepancies in booking. ▪ Support external audits and closure of related findings. Interface with local Stakeholders ▪ Manage queries from local stakeholders regarding postings, ▪ Ensure proper communication between different Transactional Accounting departments to answer the queries timely. ▪ Communicate regularly with local departments to explain role & responsibilities of Transactional Accounting and related processes. P&L & Balance Sheet Analysis by Legal View ▪ Analyze the booking done for each Legal Entity under responsibility to identify shortcomings. ▪ Correct the shortcomings.
