Senior Accountant

The Role:We’re looking for a Senior Accountant (or Finance Manager) who has hands-on experience managing P&L statements, driving financial insights, and partnering with leadership to shape sound business decisions. This role is ideal for someone who is not only technically strong but also highly communicative, organized, and able to present financial performance clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:    •    Oversee and manage full P&L ownership, including forecasting, analysis, and variance reporting.    •    Partner with department heads and executives to review financial results and provide actionable insights.    •    Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.    •    Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting processes, and documentation.    •    Support budgeting, financial modeling, and strategic planning initiatives.    •    Serve as a trusted advisor on financial performance, risk management, and resource allocation.    •    Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.Qualifications:    •    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).    •    5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including P&L management.    •    Strong analytical and presentation skills — able to translate data into clear business narratives.    •    Excellent organization, accountability, and follow-through.    •    Proficiency in [QuickBooks / NetSuite / Excel / other relevant systems].    •    Exceptional communication skills — confident working with senior leadership and external partners.
