As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in driving the financial accuracy and efficiency of a growing global organization. Sourceability is committed to a culture where we attract the best talent in the industry.Insight on your impact:Prepare, review, reconcile and analyze financial statements accounts assigned to role in accordance with US GAAP and Local GAAP. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Obtain approvals for received vendor invoices and forward to third party accounting firm for payment.Contact and discuss collections of past due accounts receivable balances with customers in the EMEA region. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with management.Assist with external audits and coordinate with auditors by providing required documentation. Assume full accounting functions for the Hungarian local entity from third party accounting firm (future). This will include GL, AR, AP, Cash, & Financial Reporting.Maintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.Participate in special projects, system implementations, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed. Your qualifications, your influence:To be successful in the role, you must possess the following skillsDegree or Certification in Accounting or additional 3 years in active accounting role4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in medium to large corporate environments.Strong knowledge of Local GAAP, with some knowledge of US GAAP.Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
