For more information, click here.Role Reports ToFINANCE CONTROLLERLocation:Latin America, Colombia, Distrito Capital de Bogota, BogotaWork Location:HybridKey ResponsibilitiesWhat you will doResponsible for the completeness and accuracy of both the US and Local GAAP & Tax reporting working closely with the Tax teams. This includes but is not limited to recording the statutory ledgers and maintaining accuracy of parallel ledgers (if applicable), focus on ensuring the correct tax accounting and coordination with internal and external audit teams.In charge of the complete and accurate accounting for all the General process flows for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement. This includes but is not limited to managing OIE, Retained Earnings, Equity clearing, Interest, Royalties, Brand Marketing Expense costs. In addition, making sure allocations and apportionments are accounted for correctlyTimely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirementsDesign audit plans in terms of schedules, communication protocols, timely escalation.Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scopeGenerate ideas, foster, and implement continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunitiesExecute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomyInfluence and Execute process improvements, generating ideas and implement ting them in line with global standardsPerforms supervision tasks to analysts that include performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, etc.Required QualificationsWhat We Are Looking ForAt least 3 to 4 years of experience having under responsibility the attention of the financial external audit (big four experience preferred)Intermediate English LevelExperience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO.Experience in a Global Accounting for a large multi-state company.Knowledge of local regulations in countries other than Colombia.Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge (preferred).Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) .Skills- Advanced Microsoft Excel, understanding accounting principles and practices, compliance knowledge and internal controls.Learning agility and adaptability to different business requirements.Strong interpersonal and analytical skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies.What’s In It For YouCompetitive Benefit PackagePaid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time, Summer Fridays & More!Learning & Development OpportunitiesEmployee Resource Groups This list could vary based on location/regionKenvue is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
