Workplace: 100% RemoteWorkload: Full-timeContract type: Contract of Mandate / B2BJob DescriptionThe (Senior)AI Engineer will be responsible for the technical design, development, and implementation of the AI platform’s advanced capabilities. This includes engineering multi-agent orchestration, Semantic Kernel–based integrations, and backend refactoring to enable modular and scalable execution. The role demands deep expertise in object-oriented programming, Azure-native services, and applied AI engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesAI Orchestration & EngineeringImplement multi-agent orchestration using Microsoft Semantic Kernel, including declarative and imperative orchestration models.Develop runtime components such as ToolRegistry, AgentManager, ContextManager, and streaming chat sessions.Engineer APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) for internal and external integrations, ensuring secure access and governance.Backend Refactoring & ExtensibilityRefactor backend services into modular, declarative execution units.Build and optimize Knowledge Store integrations with Azure AI Search, embeddings, and pipelines.Package and deploy agents, orchestrators, and APIs into Azure Container Apps / AKS within CI/CD pipelines.Observability, Observability & Infrastructure and monitoring in distributed AI platforms.Embed telemetry, distributed tracing, and monitoring with Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics.Provision infrastructure: ACA/AKS/ACR, Key Vault, App Configuration, Certificates.Implement secure access controls using Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth2, and Azure Key Vault.Candidate Profile Required Skills5+ years of engineering experience with object-oriented programming (C#, Java, Python) and API development (REST/OpenAPI).Proven experience with AI/ML platforms, multi-agent orchestration, and enterprise-scale AI platform transitions.Proven track record in enterprise AI engineering, LLM integrations, and orchestration frameworks.Expertise in Azure ecosystem: ACA, AKS, Functions, Key Vault, App Config, API Management.Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Semantic Kernel, including building AI agents, orchestrations, and tool adapters.
