In this role, you will work in close collaboration with the commercial leads who manage the top tier global/regional clients in several capacities.In this role, you will be expected to help manage month end closing activities as well as support the quarterly and annual forecasting cycles, client reporting and as well as liaising with Fin-Ops to track invoicing & payments, AVBs, Unbilled Media, and consolidate reconciliations etc.Skills And ExperienceWhat you will do:Support and collaborate with the commercial leads in all areas including but not limited to billing/payment analysis, intercompany recharges, and ad hoc reporting with a view to ensuring operational efficiency.Facilitate cross-market discussions involving local market team as well as regional/local client teams.Support PO reconciliation across multiple markets on a monthly basis thereby ensuring invoicing, payments, PO closure etc. are closely monitored in-line with contractual commitments.Manage month-end close activities which include a variance analysis on billings and net sales and coordinating any subsequent journal postings and updates after reviewing with the commercial leadsSupport the commercial leads on the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processesPreparation of internal and client reportingCompliance: Supporting in Client, Financial and SOX audit documentationWhat We NeedDegree/diploma in accountingAt least 3-5 years’ experience in a Finance position preferably in the media industryPrior hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable/ Billing operations/General Ledger/FP&A within the media industry an advantageGood numeracy and experience with the Google and Microsoft office suitesResponsible, diligent and attentive to detail; follows through on queries and issuesAnalytical, meticulous with a positive attitude to work hard, good team player and able to work with minimal supervisionStrong communicator with great interpersonal skills, comfortable in dealing with a variety of stakeholdersRecognizes and resolves problems quickly and effectivelyLife At WPP Media & BenefitsOur passion for shaping the next era of media includes investing in our employees to help them do their best work, and we’re just as committed to employee growth as we are to responsible media investment.
