Our strength in healthcare innovation empowers us to build a world where complex diseases are prevented, treated, and cured, where treatments are smarter and less invasive, and solutions are personal. Through our expertise in Innovative Medicine and MedTech, we are uniquely positioned to innovate across the full spectrum of healthcare solutions today to deliver the breakthroughs of tomorrow, and profoundly impact health for humanity. Learn more at https://www.jnj.comJob FunctionFinanceJob Sub FunctionFinancial Planning & AnalysisJob CategoryProfessionalAll Job Posting Locations:Shanghai, ChinaDescriptionJob Description:Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Total Company Closing Activities Independently lead the closing activities and work closely with Account-to-report (ATR) team, Commercial Support finance team, FP&A COE team Ensure the closing activities are carried out timely and compliantly, issues are actively followed-up, clearly communicated and cleared in a timely manner Monitor actual result versus latest thinking and planning cycle, and provide insightful Budget vs Actual analysis, as well as any action plan for enhancement Planning and Latest Update Cycle Actively engage in planning process including BP/JU/NU/LRFP/LT/etc, work closely with Business Unit Finance (BUF) and FP&A COE team to lay out the Medical China calendar, and facilitate the line manager to setup Finance internal review meeting as well as meeting follow-ups Support line manager build review template based on business dynamics and consolidate the template from BUF team for CFO review, monitor business trends and identify upside/downside on top-line & bottom-line and communicate timely to management for actions to deliver financial commitmentsManagement Review DeckSupport line manager to develop and improve BU actionable dashboard and business performance analysis with recommendations to help business partners to make fact-based decisions Draft and finetune finance related deck, such as monthly board deck, planning cycle review deck, global / regional visitor review deck etc Business Partnering to Enabling Functions Act as a strategic partner and provide financial expertise to Enabling Function heads Lead the planning process with stakeholders for the supported Enabling Functions in line with the total company’s planning timeline Timely provide management reports to the Enabling Function heads and closely monitor the actual performance and department spending as well as any risks and opportunities and mitigation plans Others / Projects / Ad-hoc Participate in initiatives to continuously streamline financial planning processes and drive operational efficiency Ad hoc analysis to support Business needs Ensure Business related activities / transactions are in line with J&J Worldwide Procedures and internal control requirement QualificationsBachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, master degree is a plus Professional certification is preferred (e.g CPA, CMA, ACCA) 5+ years working experience of big MNC with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience Solid working knowledge of accounting principles, concepts, and compliance Familiarity with ERP system (such as SAP) and planning system (such as TM1), advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and ability to handle and interpret big data sets; Data automation and visualization skills are preferred Team player, and strong communication and influencing skills Learning agility and good trouble shooting and problem solving skills in a complex and dynamic environment Business acumen, strong analytical and framing skills Able to read, write and speak English fluently Required SkillsPreferred Skills:Analytical Reasoning, Budgeting, Business Behavior, Coaching, Communication, Consulting, Data Savvy, Econometric Models, Execution Focus, Financial Analysis, Financial Modeling, Financial Planning, Financial Reports, Financial Risk Management (FRM), Learning Agility, Microsoft Office, Operational Excellence, Problem Solving, Stakeholder Management
