Senior Architectural Designer (onsite Libya)

We are looking for senior architectural designers. Successful candidates will be in charge of designing as part of a team of architectural designers in the execution of architectural solutions for residential, commercial, hospitality, health and health care solutions. Responsibility: Designing under the guidance of the head of the architectural team and the head of the internal unit and ensuring that the design is in accordance with industry codes and regulations.Production of precise architectural drawings.Collaborate with civil engineers, MEP engineers, and other design team members to develop efficient and cost-effective architectural projects.Ensure that architectural projects comply with applicable building codes and safety standards.Reviewing and integrating architectural drawings with other disciplines such as structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.Ensure the timely submission of architectural projects in order to meet the project schedules and milestones set by the project manager.Monitor the use of design software (e.g. Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for drawing; Sketchup or 3Ds Max for modeling; Lumion, V-Ray, Corona, or Twinmotion rendering software; knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign, etc.) for the development of accurate architectural drawings and models.Collaborate with the architectural design team to ensure the best possible solution regarding architectural and design issues.Helping to solve complex design challenges by offering practical and innovative solutions.Attendance at project meetings to discuss progress, solve problems within the Architectural Design Unit, as well as within the Design UnitCollaborate with the review unit for faster and more efficient design output.Knowledge of urban planning and master planning.Knowledge of design standards and codes according to the type of building and program requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in ArchitectureA minimum of 10 years of experience as an architectural designer of residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare and industrial projects and other construction projects. Skills and abilities:Knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Accessibility Design Standards, Fire Safety and Environmental Safety Standards (NFPA101 or equivalent), LEED Sustainability Guidelines, and other architectural design codes.
