Senior Architectural Designer

Job DescriptionAssist client in developing design briefConduct pre-design research on regulatory requirementsConduct site investigation i.e. check RLP, SIP, DIP and other necessary regulationsBrainstorm ideas and develop initial designEnsure initial design complies with regulatory requirementsConsult authorities on specific regulatory requirementsAssist client to refine design briefFurther develop the design in detail to meet requirements for Development Control Submissions and all other relevant regulatory requirementsPrepare outline specifications to determine preferred materials, quality and construction methodDevelop all spaces in detail (exterior, interior, landscape)Refine plan and promotion enhancing feel & spaceEnhance aesthetics thought analytical design detailingEnsure design intention is translatable to working drawings through constructionEnsure that design complies with regulatory requirementsProvide client with recommendations on materials and construction method that is in line with the design intentWork closely with Project Administrator to develop Sketchup model in accordance to exact specifications.Conduct site inspections to ensure that design intent is adhered to.Troubleshoot design problems, if any.Assist with ad hoc design changes, if anyConduct site inspection to check the completed work against the design intent.Understand and analyse design flaws and defect arising from designJob RequirementsA strong passion for architecture, interior architecture and interior designGood knowledge in selection of colours and materialsProficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Autocad, Sketch-up, 3D max, Revit and PowerpointRelish working in a challenging and fast-paced environmentAt least 8 years of experience (local or overseas) Strong portfolioA proactive and conscientious team playerPlease send your CV & portfolio to career@parkassociates.com.sg if you are interested in the position.
