Project Planning for fiber cable top up (UG and In-building). Planning and studying of underground and in-building fiber (Fiber and Pipe networks). Managing of Project based and Daily order-based Provisioning projects. Ensuring that target dates (Customer Ready Date) for all access fibre cable schemes are met so that services can be provided expeditiously to customers. Liaising with internal and external teams to ensure smooth delivery of project completion. Working together with internal and external counterparts on project job scope. Ensuring project schemes and material vouchers are issued timely. Assisting contractors in applying MARS (Manhole Access Request System) and liaising with BM (Building Management) for access application. Apply LTA Road opening application and power grid and power gas NCE application. Close all LTA applications once final reinstatement/Mill & Patch work is completed by contractor. Check and clear contractor submitted claims using DFF system. Ensure that target handover dates for all fibre cable projects are met. Updating and keeping track on contractor’s progress report. Ensuring job completion reports are submitted on time. Verification of contractor’s job completion. Verification of contractor’s project claims are done in Streamline an Impact system. Providing estimated fiber and pipeline quote to internal parties. Conducting site survey when the need arises. E.g. Contractors unable to locate manholes or pipeline on site. Assist contractors whenever they encounter difficulties on site. Proposing alternatives to solve infrastructure issues. Planning and supporting nationwide copper recovery projects. Plan and issue projects to contractors. Assist to issue SOs (Service Order) to contractors. Verify contractor’s claims. Planning and supporting ad-hoc / future projects / duties. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills For Success Diploma certification in Engineering preferable in Telecommunication or Info-communications Technology. Preferably 2 years working experience. Fresh grads may apply. Possession of a Class 3 driving license or owns a private vehicle would be an advantage. Good working knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Good communication skills, tactful, keen to learn and a team player. Able to cope and work in a fast-paced environment.
