The role requires a qualified professional with at least five (5) years of post-qualification experience in a reputable audit firm. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with proven expertise in financial reporting, tax advisory, and statutory audit processes. Key ResponsibilitiesAudit & Assurance Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and firm methodology.Review working papers, audit reports, and management letters prepared by audit teams.Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and audit issues, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements.Oversee risk assessments, internal control evaluations, and audit planning to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.Supervise and mentor audit seniors and trainees, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and professional development.Taxation Provide strategic tax planning and compliance services to corporate and individual clients.Review and file client tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, and PIT), ensuring full compliance with FIRS and State IRS regulations.Advise clients on tax-efficient structures, incentives, and emerging tax laws. • Represent clients during tax audits, investigations, and reconciliations with tax authorities.Develop and maintain strong relationships with tax regulators and authorities.Personal Attributes High level of integrity, objectivity, and professional skepticism.Strong leadership and team management capability.Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines.Commitment to continuous professional development.Requirements and Experience A Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.Must be a qualified member of ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria).Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification experience in a recognized audit and tax firm.In-depth knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and Nigerian tax laws and regulations. Demonstrated experience managing multiple client engagements and leading audit teams.Strong analytical, communication, and client-relations skills.Proficiency in accounting and audit software (e.g., CaseWare, QuickBooks, Sage, Excel). Application Closing Date 10th November, 2025.
