Senior Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:• Act as a mentor to junior and mid-level developers, providing technical advice, assistance with problem-solving, and helping them improve their coding skills and knowledge.• Design, develop, and maintain web applications tailored to our clients using the MERN stack.• Work closely with other developers, stakeholders, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time.• Collaborate with clients, specifically insurance companies, to understand their integration needs, ensure smoothness of the process and provide effective solutions.• Build projects from the ground up, including architecture, design, and implementation, ensuring a strong foundation for future development.• Implement secure payment processing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in coding standards, performance, and security.• Identify and resolve issues in applications, working to improve overall performance and user experience.• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and integration methodologies.Job Qualifications & Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.• 5+ of proven experience as a Backend Developer is a must.• From 3-5 years of experience will be considered a Mid-level Developer.• Effective teamwork and communication skills.• Fluent command of spoken and written English language• Strong proficiency in key technologies such as Nest.js, Node.js, and Express.js.• Strong experience working with SQL, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL databases.• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.• Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git.• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and styling frameworks (CSS, Tailwind, Material UI, Chakra UI) is preferred.• Experience with payment gateways and secure payment processing is a plus.• Familiarity with insurance industry practices and integration processes is a plus.
