And that's where you come in.Cairo, Egypt (On-Site)Responsibilities: The Software Engineer performs a subset of the software engineering activities required to develop a software solution or product:Analyses the software needs whatever the used means (e.g. advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes, ...)Describes the software functions and requirementsFormalizes of the software specification and the architectural design to develop the software solution or productPerforms software development activities, respecting deadlines, costs and quality, with a clear vision of risks and opportunities,Develops the software as well as its unit tests and its associated documentation,Prepares and performs the software integration and software verification testsSupports the IVVQ Team and provide the relevant impact analysisSupports deployment monitoring and advanced support for new featuresRequirements:A bachelor's level degree in a computer science - or relevant - fieldThe candidate should be fluent in English. French is a plus.Total years of experience: 8+ yearsRegular communication with the Software Engineering Manager.Regular communication with the Project Design Authority.Regular communications with the development team in Cairo and other Hitachi countries depending on the project.Regular communication with the stakeholders involved in delivering the solutionTicketing Solution experience is a MUSTMicrosoft office (Word, Excel)Agile Methodology / SCRUMC++ Embedded SystemPOCOCMakeLinuxOptional Skills:Google TestConanData Communication: MQTT, gRPC, ProtobufSpecific Tools:GITTFS (bug tracking)Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
