Senior Branches AuditorLocation: Head Office – BaghdadThe National Bank of Iraq is seeking a Senior Branches Auditor to join our Internal Audit team and play a key role in safeguarding our processes and systems.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute audit engagements across branches and related operations to ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and Central Bank of Iraq guidelines.Identify control gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement in branch operations and recommend corrective actions.Supervise and guide audit teams during field and desk audits, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Prepare audit observations and draft reports for management review.Contribute to evaluating new systems and controls, providing recommendations for enhanced risk management.Support the implementation of corrective measures and follow-up on compliance with audit findings.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related field.Experience: a minimum of 3 years in internal auditing, preferably with branch audit experience.Certifications: CIA or other relevant internal audit certifications are highly preferred.Languages: Proficiency in Arabic and English.Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and supervisory capabilities.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
